Northerlies Beach Bar and Grill is a premier dining destination located in tropical Airlie Beach, Queensland. The venue consists of brasserie restaurant dining, an outdoor beachside kitchen, and 2x bars with an overall capacity of 750 seats.

It's busy season and we're seeking atalented Chef to bolster our experienced kitchen team.

n

As a Chef, you will:

n

Have an chance to utilise your time management and organisational skills.

n

Bring a high level of proficiency in all areas of the kitchen

n

Be willing and able to work in all sections of the kitchen

n

Have a passion for creating delicious, expertly prepared, cooked, and presented food.

n

Keep an organised kitchen and uphold a food safety program to assist in maintaining the kitchen, food, and hygiene standards.

n

Can demonstrate and advise with food preparation techniques and cooking procedures.

n





Demonstrate the ability to preserve, freeze and store foods safely.

n

Be a team player and work well within a team

n

Applicants must:

n

Hold a qualification of an Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or at least a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the same role.

n

Demonstrate motivation, commitment, and attention to detail

n

Effective communication skills with a growth mindset to continually learn and improve.

n

Thrive in a high-volume and high-pressure environment.
