Job Description

Our client is looking for an Engineering Manager with AI and a background in Data Science and Machine Learning to lead a multi-disciplinary team of data, machine learning, DevOps, and software engineers delivering high-impact AI and data solutions for a leading retailer.

You'll take a product-led approach, partnering with Product Managers, Architects, and Security to deliver our AI and data roadmap while embedding up-to-date engineering and agile practices that drive measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, production-grade AI/ML and data solutions
n
- Extensive Data Science/Machine Learning and Data Engineering experience
n
- Translate business objectives into prioritised technical outcomes alongside Product
n
- Drive modern engineering practices, CI/CD, DevOps, and quality standards
n




- Collaborate across architecture, security, and platform teams
n
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team
n
- Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and innovation
n
- Proven experience leading product-led data and/or ML engineering teams
n
- Strong people leader with a passion for coaching and team development
n
- Solid background delivering AI solutions into production
n
- Comfortable working in agile environments focused on continuous value delivery
n
- Strong product mindset and stakeholder collaboration skills
