Workshop General Hand / Trades Assistant - FULL TIME

Location: Kings Park
n Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
n Shift times: Monday - Friday 5am - 3pm & Saturday 5am - 12pm
n Salary: $34 Per hour + overtime rates
n Start Date: Immediate Start Available For Successful Applicant

About the Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced All - Round Factory General Hand / Trades Assistant to join our busy industrial facility operations. This is a hands-on role that would be ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organized and moving efficiently.

n

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work the hours stated above this will include Saturday work every week.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Operating forklifts (counterbalance ) to move goods safely.
n
- Assisting tradesman - electricians and fitters onsite
n
- Using hand and power tools
n
- Assisting Maintenance team, taking spare parts and other materials
n
- Spray painting handrails and walkways - via spray gun
n
- Inventory control, including stocktaking and cycle counts.
n
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the factory
n
- Moving materials within the factory and yard as required
n
- General hand work, assisting other areas within the business as required when all jobs in the factory have been completed.
n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

n

n
- Valid forklift license (e.g., LF in Australia).
n
- Previous welding or fabricating experience highly desirable but not essential
n
- Experience operating forklifts and using warehouse equipment.
n
- Knowledge of procedures and safety regulations.
n
- Basic computer skills or experience
n
- Physically fit as manual handling will be involved
n
- Hand and power tool experience ( Highly Desirable)
n
- Mechanically Minded (Highly Desirable)
n
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
n
- Own Transportation
n
- Must be able to work the required hours ( Saturday Work )
n
