Machine Operation Night / Afternoon Shift

Blaze Staffing Solutions is currently seeking experienced Afternoon and Night Machine Operators for an immediate start with well-established and highly regarded companies based in Thomastown.

n

This is an excellent chance for experienced operators or someone looking to develop a career within the manufacturing industry.

About the role:

n

n
- Set up and operate CNC machines to process materials (e.g. sheet metal or timber)
n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and job specifications
n
- Load and unload materials and select the correct material type and thickness for production
n
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure quality and efficiency
n
- Inspect and measure finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
n
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required
n
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and quality procedures
n
- Sunday to Thursday Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
n
- Monday to Friday Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
n

To be successful, you will need:

n

n
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery or other manufacturing equipment.
n
- Experience working with sheet metal or timber
n




- Full Australian Working Rights
n
- Experience with CNC-controlled equipment (Bystronic experience highly regarded)
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Ability to complete pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing before commencement
n
