Key Responsibilities
n
Manage a portfolio of large commercial accounts, building strong client relationships and supporting long-term retention.
n
Coordinate the full renewal lifecycle, including pre-renewal reviews, quotations, endorsements, certificates of currency, invoicing, and renewal reports.
n
Lead complex renewals to ensure deadlines are met and clients' changing insurance needs are properly addressed.
n
Attend client meetings with Senior Account Managers where required, contributing to relationship management and service delivery.
n
Review client risks and insurance programs to recommend appropriate, effective coverage solutions.
n
Prepare underwriting submissions and support placements across Contract Works/CAR, Liability, Plant & Equipment, Motor Fleet, and related insurance lines.
n
Work closely with the in-house Claims Manager to help achieve timely, fair claims outcomes for clients.
n
Build productive relationships with Senior Brokers, Underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
n
Identify and support new business opportunities, including proposals, tenders, and client presentations.
n
Maintain accurate documentation, file notes, and compliance records in line with ASIC, AFSL, and internal governance requirements.

About You
n
You are a proactive, client-focused insurance professional with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in building your career within large commercial insurance. Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused, you can manage competing priorities while contributing positively to a collaborative broking team and delivering strong outcomes for clients.
n
Qualifications/Skills
n
Tier 1 or Diploma-level qualification in Insurance Broking is advantageous.
n
Sound Knowledge of Microsoft office programs including Excel and Word.
n
Experience with Broking Systems such as Insight, Winbeat and OfficeTech.
n
Strong administrative and organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadline including invoicing procedures and file management.
