We're looking for an ambitious and people-focused Fitness Manager to take ownership of the Health Club at Parkinson Aquatic Centre & Health Club.

About the Role
n
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll balance team leadership, commercial performance and member experience.
n
You'll lead from the front — building robust relationships with members, developing your team in real time, and setting the standard for energy, service and professionalism.
n
Alongside leading the Health Club, you will:
n
n
- Spend time on the gym floor supporting members and team
n
- Undertake Duty Manager shifts as part of the leadership team
n
n
What You'll Be Responsible For
n
n
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of fitness professionals
n
- Driving membership growth, retention and overall club performance
n
- Creating an energetic, welcoming and results-driven culture
n
- Supporting sales through strong member engagement and community outreach
n
- Overseeing daily operations including rostering, standards and reporting
n
- Collaborating with the Facility Manager and wider leadership team
n
n

Required Qualifications
n
n
- Certificate III & IV in Fitness
n
- Current First Aid & CPR
n
- Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
n
- Lifeguard Qualification (or ability to obtain)
n
