Data Governance & Quality Analyst | Sydney | Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance & Quality Analyst to play a key role in establishing and embedding data governance capabilities across a large, complex organisation.

n

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of enterprise-wide governance frameworks, improve data quality and integrity, and support the implementation of modern data governance tools within a contemporary data and analytics environment.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and implement Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures
n
- Establish data ownership, stewardship and accountability models
n
- Drive Data Quality initiatives and continuous improvement programs
n
- Support metadata management, data catalogues, business glossaries and data inventories
n
- Assist with Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management capabilities
n
- Define and monitor governance KPIs, maturity assessments and risk registers
n
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data integrity, trust and compliance
n




- Support implementation and adoption of leading governance platforms
n

n

About You

n

You will bring:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in Data Governance, Data Quality or Information Governance
n
- Proven experience establishing governance frameworks in large enterprise environments
n

n

Solid understanding of:

n

n
- Data Quality Management
n
- Metadata Management
n
- Data Lifecycle Management
n
- Master & Reference Data Management
n
- Data Privacy and Compliance
n

n

Hands-on experience with one or more of:

n

n
- Microsoft Purview
n
- Collibra
n
- Informatica
n
- Atlan
n
- Alation
n

n

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Government, public sector or highly regulated industry experience
n
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or ERP programs
n
- Knowledge of governance maturity frameworks and data governance reporting
n
