n
- Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers, venues and event contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
n
- Collaborate across the Club to align event objectives with broader strategic priorities
n
- Embed storytelling, inclusivity and purpose into all events to foster belonging and pride
n
Budget, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
n
- Manage event budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and disciplined cost control
n
- Track and report on event outcomes, measuring success against attendance, satisfaction and commercial impact
n
- Implement and refine event systems,
processes and checklists to build scalable delivery as the Club grows
n
- Identify new opportunities to elevate the event program, enhancing brand reputation and partner satisfaction
n
What you'll bring
n
- Proven experience delivering events end-to-end in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ideally 3+ years in a comparable role
n
- Demonstrated capability managing event budgets, suppliers and competing priorities
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across partners, members, community groups and government
n
- Creative instincts balanced with operational precision; you can imagine the experience and then run the checklist that delivers it
n
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to think quickly and laterally when plans change
n
- Experience within a professional sporting club or major venue workplace is highly regarded
n
- Working With Vulnerable People accreditation and a valid Driver's Licence are essential
n
The Fine Print
n
- Full-time, permanent, based in Hobart and reporting to the Operations and Events Manager
n
- Regular out-of-hours work required, including nights and weekends across the season
n
- A collaborative and inclusive culture with attractive advantages including quarterly wellbeing days and additional off-season leave
n
- Work that matters, a team that backs you, and a chance to be part of something truly historic
n
- Salary guidance of $70,000 - $75,000 + superannuation, commensurate with experience
