Job Description
Division 5 is a specialist cyber security consultancy based in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

We offer end-to-end technical expertise, from security assurance and penetration testing, to strategic governance, to managed detection and response services, all built on innovative in-house technology and methodologies.

Our team is growing, and we are looking for an Account Executive to join our team.

Your Role
n
Division 5 is proud of our reputation in technical excellence and we are seeking similarly qualified sales experts to grow our presence in Brisbane and across Australia.
n
This role is primarily focused on new business development, identifying opportunities and converting prospects into long-term customers.
n

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
n
The following details a list of key accountabilities with respect to the role of Account Executive at Division 5:
n
n
- Identify, build, and manage a pipeline of opportunities for Division 5, and further identify strategic partnerships that can be leveraged.
n
- Attend industry events, meetups, and conferences on behalf of Division 5.
n
- Work with the CRM system to maintain client relationships and ensure data hygiene.
n
- Translate technically based concepts into business context, and vice-versa.
n
- Strategically partner with Division 5 clients, understanding their business needs and providing appropriate technical solutions to address those needs.
n
- Ensure work items are conducted ethically, fairly, and within legal and contractual requirements.
n
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture through internal collaboration
n
- Proactively pursue and stay informed about industry trends to enhance security response and client service.
n

Capabilities
n
Preferred candidates will possess the following specialised competencies:
n
n
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role selling IT-based services, with an understanding of the sales process and the ability to achieve and exceed targets.
n
- General understanding of cyber security and the services provided by Division 5, including penetration testing, risk assessments, and incident response.
n
- Ability to convert leads, connect with potential clients, and manage stakeholder relationships through the full sales pipeline.
n
- Qualified communication skills to appropriately represent technical concepts up to Executive-level contacts.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
n
- Commitment to customer service and achieving the right outcomes for clients.
n
- Time management and organisational skills, to maintain a consistent pace of work in an effective manner
n
