The Role

n

We're looking for an experienced and reliable Food Truck Operator / Barista to join our team. This hands-on role involves preparing and serving coffee and food, operating the food truck independently, and delivering excellent customer service on the go.

n

You'll be responsible for setup and pack down, maintaining food safety standards, processing orders and payments, and creating a welcoming customer experience.

n

This is a casual role (approx. 20–30 hours per week) with potential for additional hours. Weekend availability is required from time to time.

n

Key Responsibilities and Skills

n

- Greet customers, taking orders and processing payments
n
- Autonomous working, driving to location
n
- Coffee machine set up & pack down
n
- Food truck preparation duties and clean up
n
- Operate and maintain the equipment with the truck
n
- Crafting high-quality coffee and preparing other beverages
n




- Building rapport with customers by recognising their preferences to provide a personalised experience
n
- Food preparation, for take-away
n
- Keeping the vehicle and equipment clean and tidy
n
- Complying with health and safety requirements
n
- Cultivating a positive atmosphere to enhance customer experiences
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Must be 25 years or over for insurances purposes
n
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the food service industry
n
- Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong organisational skills
n
- Knowledge of and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
n
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and take a hands-on approach
n
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- A vibrant friendly personality
n
- Strong organisational skills
n
- Be available across 7 days for weekend events
n

Highly Desirable:

- Food Safety Certificate
n
- Barista trained
n
- Experience with Square
