- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in clients' homes, schools, workplaces and community settings.
n
- Develop individualised, goal-focused therapy plans based on client needs and priorities.
n
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve independence, participation and quality of life.
n
- Assess functional capacity across activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), mobility, cognition, sensory processing and community participation.
n
- Prescribe and recommend assistive technology and equipment where clinically appropriate.
n
- Complete home environment assessments and provide recommendations for home modifications.
n
- Support clients with upper limb rehabilitation, fine motor skills, sensory regulation, cognitive strategies and functional independence.
n
- Provide falls prevention strategies and environmental risk assessments.
n
- Educate clients, families and carers to maximise therapy outcomes and independence.
n
- Monitor progress and review intervention plans to ensure goals remain relevant and achievable.

About the Role

As a community-based Occupational Therapist, you will:

- Provide occupational therapy services in clients' homes and community settings

- Work with participants under NDIS and private clients
n
- Deliver goal-oriented, evidence-based interventions

- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
n
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other allied health professionals
n
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and reports

Skill & Experience

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Occupational Therapist
n
- Full AHPRA registration, OR Eligibility for limited registration in Australia
n
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle (or willingness to obtain one upon arrival)
n
- Current Police Check
n
- Current Working With Children Check
n
- Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based occupational therapy practice
n
- Confidence managing a mobile caseload independently
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong time management and organisational ability
n
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to Australian clinical standards
n
- Ability to work independently with appropriate support
