What You'll Be Doing

n

Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, you will take lead engineering concepts and turn them into ultra‐accurate, manufacture‐ready 3D Revit models.

n

- 3D Modelling & Detailing: Build clash‐free, highly detailed Revit MEP models for complex HVAC ductwork, piping systems (chilled & condenser water), and plant rooms.
n
- Prefab & Spooling: Generate accurate shop drawings, section details,



and prefabrication spool maps for direct workshop production.
n
- Spatial Coordination: Run clash detection (using Navisworks) to ensure systems are optimised for site installation, maintenance access, and structural clearance.
n
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Project Engineers, Site Managers, and Fabrication teams to solve constructability challenges before manufacturing starts.
n
- Standards Maintenance: Ensure documentation meets internal quality standards and Australian Standards (AS1668 & AS3666).
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 5-7+ Years Experience: Proven track record in mechanical services drafting within the Australian building services sector.
n
- Revit MEP Mastery: Advanced skill set in Revit MEP, with strong familiarity in Navisworks (self‐clashing) and Bluebeam.
n
- Practical Site Knowledge: You understand how ductwork fits together, how pipes are supported, and what it actually takes to build a plant room in the real world.
n
- Prefab Experience (Bonus): Prior exposure to modular or prefabricated plant design is highly regarded.
n
- Clear Communication: Ability to liaise cleanly with engineers and workshop staff to keep projects moving.
n
