Position: Chef Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week) Salary: AUD $79,423 per annum plus superannuation

We are committed to delivering authentic Italian cuisine prepared with high-quality ingredients and exceptional attention to detail. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

n

Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes to a consistently high standard. Plan menus and develop new seasonal dishes. Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control.

n

Supervise kitchen operations and assist with training junior kitchen staff. Manage stock levels, ordering and food storage. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.

Work collaboratively with management to maintain effective kitchen operations. Minimise food wastage and maintain cost control.

Essential Requirements

n

Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years' relevant experience as a Chef. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required. Salary and Conditions Full-time position (38 hours per week).
