About the Opportunity
n
Join a well-established Healthcare business making a genuine difference in the community. This is a newly created 12-month contract for a systems-focused Finance professional, supporting a business currently undergoing a major systems transformation. You'll bring deep experience in finance systems, testing and continuous improvement, and enjoy working in a fast-changing, hands-on environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Some of the areas you will be overseeing on a day to day basis are:
n
n
- System administration - support access enquiries across ERP and finance related systems, administer user access and security roles, and become the go-to for Finance system related enquiries.
n
- Maintain master data integrity within finance systems and lead data cleansing initiatives.
n
- Coordinate UAT testing cycles for upgrades, patches and new releases, including developing test plans, coordinating business testers and managing defect resolution through to sign-off.
n
- Configure and maintain core ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, Bank Services), including chart of accounts, tax settings and posting rules.
n
- Act as the main conduit between Finance and Technology, translating accounting requirements into technical solutions.
n
- Troubleshoot issues and manage escalations with internal stakeholders, performing root-cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
n
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities from a systems perspective.
n
- Produce explicit documentation including configuration records, process maps and change logs.
n
n
The ideal candidate
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in a finance systems, systems analyst or business systems support role
n
- Experience with UAT/testing cycles, not just participating
n
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and integrations (e.g. Sage, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365)
n
- Comfortable working with disparate or imperfect systems, with the grit to problem-solve rather than expect best practice
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to converse with non-technical stakeholders
n
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and keep progressing system enhancements
n
n
Why Apply
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the systems side of Finance to play a key role in a live implementation, with genuine ownership over testing, configuration and process improvement as the function evolves.
