Business & Taxation Concepts is a well-established accounting practice providing taxation, accounting, business advisory and compliance services to a broad range of clients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our professional team.

About the Role

n

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial accounts, income tax returns and related compliance work for a variety of clients, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and self-managed superannuation funds.

n

The role will involve regular communication with clients, partners and team members, and will require strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to manage workflow efficiently.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
n
- Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance documents
n
- Assisting with tax planning and client advisory matters
n
- Liaising with clients,



ATO and other external parties
n
- Reviewing client records and identifying issues requiring further attention
n
- Managing allocated jobs and meeting deadlines
n
- Working collaboratively with partners, managers and other team members
n
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high-quality work standards
n

n

Skills and Experience Required

n

n
- CPA or CA qualification
n
- Minimum 5 years' accounting experience
n
- Experience in an Australian accounting practice preferred
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently
n
- Professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
n
- Good computer skills and ability to use accounting and practice management software
n
