The Opportunity
n
A leading global FMCG business is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, Manufacturing, this role will play a key part in supporting the organisation's largest manufacturing operation, partnering closely with site leadership to drive performance, provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making.
n
This is a highly visible position offering broad exposure across manufacturing operations, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, capital investment and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational stakeholders and influencing business outcomes beyond the numbers.

The Challenge
n
As Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Partnering with site leadership to provide financial guidance and support operational decision-making
n
- Leading the annual budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for the manufacturing site
n
- Providing insightful analysis on financial and operational performance, identifying risks,
opportunities and improvement initiatives
n
- Monitoring and explaining manufacturing variances across labour, materials, inventory and overhead costs
n
- Supporting the delivery of accurate month-end and year-end reporting
n
- Tracking and validating cost optimisation initiatives to ensure delivery against performance targets
n
- Supporting new product launches through financial analysis and business case development
n
- Maintaining the accuracy of standard costing and inventory reporting processes
n
- Collaborating with finance and operational teams across the broader ANZ business to drive reporting consistency and best practice
n
n
The Expertise
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
n
n
- CA or CPA qualified
n
- 5+ years' experience within commercial finance, ideally across manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain or operations finance environments
n
- Demonstrated experience partnering with operational stakeholders to influence business performance and support commercial decision-making
n
- Solid budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience
n
- Exposure to manufacturing costing, inventory management, standard costing or operational finance will be highly regarded
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior operational leaders
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights
n
- A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
n
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system will be highly regarded
n
- Full Australian working rights required
