Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Artarmon, NSW. You'll gain hands-on experience in a professional workshop while completing an AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

No experience? No problem. If you have a great attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in the automotive industry, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Working alongside qualified technicians, you'll learn how to:

n

n
- Service and maintain a wide range of vehicles.
n
- Diagnose and repair engine, brake, steering, suspension and electrical systems.
n
- Assist with electrical diagnostics and fault finding.
n
- Conduct vehicle inspections, testing and performance checks.
n
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively.
n
- Follow manufacturer procedures and workplace safety standards.
n
- Support the day-to-day operations of a professional automotive workshop.
n
