Warehouse Supervisor with Logistics responsibilities

n

NCH Australia Pty Ltd is part of a US corporation that is over 100 years old with a presence in 55 countries. NCH distributes a wide range of industrial chemicals and we are currently seeking a full time, experienced warehouse supervisor with a strong work ethic who can lead our small warehouse team by example and support our upcoming SAP implementation.

Our national distribution centre is located at Regents Park.

n

This is a full time position available immediately with a genuine opportunity for growth. This opportunity is ideal for a senior store person or current supervisor to step up to the next level.

n

Duties include:

n

Coordinate and prioritise all warehouse and order processing tasks.

n

Warehouse housekeeping and supervision of day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safety, accuracy and efficiency.

n

Coordinate receiving, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch activities besides loading and unloading trucks.

n

Blending and decanting of products into various UOM & samples

n

Monitor inventory accuracy, manage stock movements and support replenishment planning.

n

Work closely with Customer Service, Sales and Operations to minimise backorders and improve customer service.

n





Ensure compliance with WHS, Dangerous Goods and company procedures.

n

Support SAP implementation, including warehouse process testing (UAT), training and Go-Live activities.

n

Drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes and operational performance.

n

Skills and Experience:

n

Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations with supervisory experience.

n

Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.

n

Experience using ERP systems in a warehouse environment.

n

SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), Inventory Management (IM), or SAP implementation experience is highly desirable.

n

Current High Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).

n

A proactive, hands-on attitude with a focus on safety and customer service.

n

Ensure compliance with WHS, Dangerous Goods and company procedures.

Attention to detail and lead by example

Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
