Laboratory Technician - solutions formulation

This is a hands-on role, offering a diverse daily workload in media preparation for the manufacture of live veterinary vaccines. You will participate in the formulation of a variety of media solutions to support various streams of vaccine production.

About the role:

n

Perform a vast array of small to large scale media formulations with varying complexities.

n

Sterilise media through diverse methods including filtration or autoclaving.

n

Prepare and operate laboratory equipment such as pH meters, heating elements & peristaltic pumps in graded labs.

n

Manage inventory control of chemicals.

n

Complete production paperwork

n

Manage egg incubators and participate with the receival, candling and transfer of eggs.

n

Skills & experience

n

Prior experience in aseptic laboratory technique (advantageous)

n





Experience working in a GMP regulated sterile manufacturing or lab setting (advantageous)

n

Tertiary qualification (advantageous) or equivalent commercial experience.

n
