As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining excellent food standards, and supporting the delivery of outstanding culinary experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
n
Key Duties and Responsibilities
n
- Assist in developing and updating menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal requirements;
n
- Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation;
n
- Estimate food and labour costs and manage the ordering, storage, and stock control of kitchen supplies;
n
- Monitor food quality and portion control throughout preparation and service;
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements;
n
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations to ensure efficient service during functions and events;
n
- Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff while maintaining high culinary standards;
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and protected kitchen workplace, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
n
Skill & Experience
n
- A qualification in Hospitality and food preparation;
n
- Extensive experience in preparing continental and various cuisines to a high standard;
n
- Exceptional skills in food presentation and plating;
n
- Ability to prepare a premium menu within a set budget;
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills;
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
n
- Willingness to work night shifts as required by the events and function schedule;
n
- Full time work rights in Australia;
n
- Passion for food and a commitment to consistent quality.
