Disability Support Worker – Randwick & Surrounding Eastern Suburbs

About the Role

n

Secure a highly desirable, stable Part Time & Casual role with guaranteed weekly hours 22.8. Those who prefer morning to afternoon shifts are highly encouraged to apply.

n

Specializing in supporting clients with Mental Health and Psychosocial needs, particularly across ourEastern Suburbsservice areas.

n

Targeted Psychosocial Support: Providing meaningful, person-centred support to NDIS participants with Mental Health and Psychosocial disabilities.

n

Complex Needs Management: Managing more complex needs,



which may include clients with behaviours of concern, trauma, or forensic backgrounds. This involves expertly implementing behaviour support plans and consistently using de-escalation techniques.

n

Diverse Settings: Working within participants' private homes or in one of our purpose-built Vertical Villages (SIL/SDA).

n

Routine and Engagement: Supporting clients with essential daily routines, including personal care, skill-building, and facilitating community access.

n

Collaborative Care: Working closely and effectively with allied clinicians, case workers, and families to ensure a unified approach to client goals

n

About you

n

We're looking for people with a range of experience and qualifications:

n

Minimum 6 months experience OR Cert III/IV in Disability, Aged Care, or other related fields is highly desirable

n

Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and boundary setting

n

Experience with high-intensity or complex behaviours (advantageous but not required for all roles)

n

NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver's Licence and insured vehicle

n
