Accounting Manager | Business Services Sydney CBD Full-time | Permanent $130,000 - $160,000 + Super (depending on experience)

This is an excellent chance for an experienced Manager who enjoys mentoring staff, building strong client relationships and contributing to the ongoing growth of the firm.

The Role

n

Reporting directly to the Partners, you will oversee a portfolio of clients while managing and developing a team of accountants.

n

- Managing a diverse portfolio of business services and tax clients across various industries.
n
- Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
n
- Providing strategic tax planning and business advisory services.
n
- Advising clients on business structures, cash flow, budgeting and profitability.
n
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
n
- Reviewing work prepared by Senior Accountants and Intermediate Accountants.
n
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members.
n
- Managing workflow, deadlines and resource planning across the team.
n




- Assisting Partners with practice growth, client development and process improvements.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies through technology and best practice.
n

About You

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification.
n
- 6+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
n
- Previous experience managing a client portfolio and reviewing compliance work.
n
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation.
n
- Experience mentoring and developing accountants.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- A proactive approach with robust organisational skills.
n
- Experience using Xero, Xero Practice Manager, FYI, MYOB AE or similar practice management software.
n
