An opportunity exists for a Meat Category Specialist at our foodservice branch located in Truganina.

About the Role:

n

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for the growth of sales to new and existing customers within the region and the development of long‐term business relationships.

n

Duties:

n

n
- Maintain and grow the customer base whilst focusing on new business growth
n
- Achieve sales KPI's and meet quarterly targets
n
- Develop new business opportunities to increase sales
n
- Create and maintain customer pricing and margins
n
- Identify, develop and manage new areas of growth
n
- Work co-operatively and competitively within a busy sales team environment
n

Key Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills
n
- Proven sales experience in managing meat customer accounts and growing new business
n
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base
n
- Self‐driven with the ability to work autonomously and with a team
n




- Aptitude for working with computers, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
n
- Previous experience working within the meat industry essential
n
