Maintenance and/or Electrical Technicians (Night Shift)

Join a leading manufacturer of high-quality food products, supplying some of Australia's top retailers and food service industries.

We are seeking experienced Maintenance and/or Electrical Technicians to become part of our client's fantastic, rapidly growing team. Opportunities are available at their Braeside facility, with all positions operating on the night shift. You'll work 12-hour shifts (6pm-6am) on a 7-day fortnight roster which includes one weekend.

Previous experience working within a manufacturing facility is essential.

n

The salaries offered vary depending on the candidate's skillset and experience. Salaries are calculated based on a 10.8hr working day:

*Annual salaries are based on a 10.8hr working day and are calculated using the above hourly rates.

Core Responsibilities (these will vary depending on the role you are applying for):

n

n
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Tasks as per the weekly schedule.
n
- Decrease the duration of all downtimes by rectifying them as quickly as possible, in a safe manner.
n
- Actively monitor waste, attributable to plant and equipment, and immediately report to the Shift Manager and Supervisor, any instance where it exceeds the standard.
n
- Provide diagnostic testing and maintenance services on a wide variety of electrical protection and control relays & equipment.
n
- Ensure that all food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are met or exceeded by BRC, HACCP, and GMP.
n
- Assist the Engineering Department in meeting deadlines with the installation of current projects and improvements to current Plant & Machinery.
n

Skills and experience required:

n

n
- Electrical Technician applicants must be A Grade Electrician.
n
- Maintenance Technician applicants must have relevant qualifications & experience.
n
- CMMS knowledge such as MEX is advantageous.
n
