As our firm continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Officer to become an integral part of our finance team.

What You'll Be Doing

n

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Managing the firm's Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
n
- Processing supplier invoices and preparing payment runs
n
- Issuing client invoices and monitoring outstanding accounts
n
- Following up overdue accounts and working with clients to establish payment arrangements where required
n
- Completing bank reconciliations and allocating daily receipts
n
- Maintaining accurate financial and client records
n
- Assisting with debtor management and credit control
n
- Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS)
n
- Liaising professionally with clients, suppliers and our internal team
n




- Providing general finance and administrative support as required
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is:

n

n
- Experienced in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
n
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
n
- Confident using accounting software, with Xero experience highly regarded
n
- Comfortable communicating professionally with clients by phone and email
n
- Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
n
- A proactive problem-solver who enjoys taking ownership of their work
n
- Reliable, positive and committed to delivering excellent service
n
- Experienced within an accounting practice (preferred but not essential)
n
