Signature Consulting has partnered with a leading Australian commercial cooling systems specialist to recruit a hands‐on, technically proficient Finance Manager or Financial Controller for their Sydney CBD office.

n

The business operates as a key joint venture with an established international group and a major overseas manufacturing partner in China. This pivotal position provides end-to-end oversight of Australian financial operations, cross-border consolidations, and executive-level reporting across a dynamic global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

- Month‐End Ownership: Lead month‐end closures using completed contract accounting, managing WIP, bad debt provisions, AASB 16 lease schedules, and bookkeeper reviews.

- Group Consolidations & Reporting:



Deliver monthly bilingual (English/Chinese) reporting packages to overseas group head office. Drive intercompany eliminations and reconcile Xero against Fathom HQ.

- Executive Insights: Prepare flash P&L; reports and provide commercial variance analysis directly to the CFO and Integrator.

- Compliance & Audit Liaison: Maintain cash‐basis BAS, GST, and PAYG accuracy while coordinating directly with external audit and mid‐tier tax partners.

- Controls & Optimisation: Enhance internal controls, ensure source‐document integrity in Xero, and streamline accounting processes.

Who we are seeking...

n

An ambitious Finance Manager (Or Controller) who is CA/CPA qualified with proven full‐function financial control experience, including multi‐entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and joint venture accounting. Solid hands‐on proficiency in Xero is essential, with project‐based accounting experience highly regarded.

n

Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required for seamless communication with overseas head office and manufacturing leadership. Some travel overseas, approximately once a quarter is required.
