About the Role

n





Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

n

Areas We Service

n

We service a wide area across the Riverina and into the Snowy Mountains, including but not limited to - Tumut, Adelong, Batlow and Gundagai.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
n
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
n
- Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
n
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
n
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
n
- Flexible working hours - For the right applicant we can offer minimum 10-15 hours per week

Skills & Experience

n

n
- You must be passionate about making a difference.
n
- A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour & success.
n
- Coachable.
n
- Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
n
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!
n
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
n
- Reliable way to get to and from the clients homes.
n

Mandatory Requirements

n

n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
- Minimum Cert III in eitherAged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
n
- Current Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain before commencing)
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion (or willing to obtain before commencing)
n
- NDIS Worker Screener Clearance (or willing to obtain before commencing)
n
- NSW Driver's License (P1/P2 accepted) and reliable car
n
- You must be willing to undertake and complete our mandatory internal e-learning and competency programs prior to commencement in the timeframe allocated to you.
n
- You must be confident in detecting and reporting any concerns to your Care Designer (Clinical Manager).
n
- You must be willing to think outside the box and find those gems that will make your clients life better.
