Job Description
Sydney or Melbourne based | Some work-from-home flexibility
n
Excellent salary package based on experience
n
Who we are
n
AESC is a national leader in risk and compliance auditing and management services to the built property sector, trusted by some of Australia's largest corporations. We believe a excellent culture attracts great people — and that this is the foundation of a great business.
n
About the role
n
We're seeking an experienced, client-focused Account Manager to join our team. You'll be the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of key accounts, building genuinely collaborative relationships between our clients, our operations teams and AESC.
n
The role focus is sustained client engagement — maintaining regular, structured contact via face-to-face, Teams and phone, ensuring accurate scope and operational delivery, and safeguarding a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
n
Regular account meetings give you a forum to review performance, listen to the challenges your clients are facing, and identify where AESC services could help. Where you spot a client need, your role is to raise it, discuss it and refer it to the right team to pursue.
n
Your work spans AESC's four pillars of risk and compliance — ESM Compliance, Property Risk, Emergency Management and Height Safety. You'll make active use of our in-house CRM and customised reporting through the BOSS platform and Power BI, and from time to time support the transition and mobilisation of new contracts.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Owning the relationship for a portfolio of key accounts and maintaining a structured contact cadence
n
Meeting regularly with clients to understand and document the challenges they face
n
Identifying and discussing relevant AESC services and solutions, and referring opportunities to the right team
n
Facilitating risk and compliance meetings with operational leads — with clear agendas, minutes and tracked actions
n
Reporting on scope deliverables and KPI performance, including exception reporting and desktop document review
n
Keeping client data, contract and scope registers accurate and up to date in our system
n
Supporting clients on relevant technical legislation and regulation, drawing on our technical and advisory teams
n
Maintaining current knowledge of AESC's services across our four risk pillars, service capabilities, and industry compliance requirements
n
About you
n
Experience in account management, client relationship management or a similar client-facing role
n
A consultative, solutions-oriented approach and strong commercial awareness
n
Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder-management skills
n
Confident with CRM systems and reporting tools such as Power BI
n
Working knowledge of ESM / compliance in the property sector (or the ability to pick it up quickly) is well regarded
n
Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
n
5+ years' relevant industry experience highly regarded
n
What we offer
n
The chance to join a successful, growing national business with a fun, social culture
n
Flexible working, with work-from-home options after training
n
A great client portfolio and genuine career development opportunities
n
A supportive team and an employer that values its people
