Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead a surgery in Rochedale . The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day running of thedoctors surgery.

Daily tasks will include (but not limited to)

n

n
- Manage the provision of practice services to medical practitioners
n
- Ordering and purchase of practice consumables to ensure maintenance of appropriate stock levels
n
- Ensure the integrity of patient filing system and records are maintained
n
- Ensure practice facilities are maintained (equipment and cleaning) via appropriate contractors
n
- Record the number of sessions provided at the practice by individual practitioners
n
- Ensure practice manuals are updated regularly to reflect current practice systems and processes
n




- Ensure practice IT systems are operational and meet requirements, and that any malfunctions are promptly addressed
n

Skills & Attributes

n

n
- KnowledgeofBestPracticeSoftware
n
- Accredited training in business or medical practice management
n
- Knowledge of medical terminology
n
- CPR/Triage training and/or experience
n
- Experience with social groups serviced by the practice such as adolescents, aged care, aboriginals and Torres Straight Islanders
n
- Training and/or experience in management of emergencies, handling complaints, Medicare item numbers, basic infection control, protected handling and disposal of medical waste etc.
