Job Description

YH Support is seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mt Warren Park, Springfield Lakes, Woodridge, QLD and surrounding areas. This is a casual role that will involve providing compassionate and high-quality care to our clients with disabilities. You will work closely with our clients to assist them with daily living activities and support their independence and wellbeing.

Shifts:

- Mt Warren Park - Tues & Thurs: 10:30AM to 1:30PM
n
- Springfield Lakes - Wednesdays 3 hrs during the day
n
- Woodridge - Weekdays 8am to 1030am
n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Assisting clients with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
n
- Helping clients with household tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
n
- Accompanying and supporting clients in the community, such as during social outings or appointments
n
- Providing emotional support and engaging clients in meaningful activities
n
- Documenting client progress and communicating with the broader care team
n
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent relevant experience
n
- Experience in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
n




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
n
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
n
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
n
- A current driver's license and access to reliable transport
n
