Senior AI Test Engineer – Queensland State Government Client

Location: Carseldine (North Brisbane). Hybrid & flexible working arrangements. Initial 6‐month contract, possible extension.

What you will be doing

n

n
- Design, implement and continuously improve testing processes aligned with established frameworks.
n
- Develop automated testing solutions across complex systems, including AI‐enabled platforms.
n
- Create and execute test cases (manual and automated) across system, integration, and regression levels.
n
- Build automated scenarios to validate AI model accuracy, consistency and decision logic.
n
- Analyze user stories, requirements and use cases to ensure testability and completeness.
n
- Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to define acceptance criteria and drive quality outcomes.
n
- Maintain test traceability, documentation and reporting across the delivery lifecycle.
n
- Execute testing strategies aligned to CI/CD practices and delivery pipelines.
n
- Provide clear reporting on test progress, coverage and overall quality metrics.
n
- Contribute to solution design discussions, estimations and implementation decisions.
n

What you need to bring

n

n
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Engineer in complex delivery environments.
n
- Strong hands‐on expertise in test automation frameworks and tools.
n




- Experience designing and executing end‐to‐end testing strategies.
n
- Ability to build, manage and maintain scalable automated test suites.
n
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and cooperative team environments.
n
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess requirements for validity and feasibility.
n
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence quality outcomes.
n
- Experience testing AI‐enabled systems or working with large language models.
n
- Hands‐on experience with Playwright.
n
- Exposure to AWS environments.
n
- Experience using GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows.
n
- Familiarity with Confluent Kafka.
n
- Experience with Snowflake.
n
- Knowledge of domain‐driven design principles.
n
