Project Manager - Identity Platform Transition

We are looking for a senior Technology Project Manager to lead a complex enterprise identity platform transition from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID.

n

This is a dedicated delivery role with end-to-end responsibility for planning, governance, risk, reporting and coordination across discovery, design, application migration, testing, cutover and operational handover.

What you will be responsible for

n

n
- Owning the integrated plan across all project workstreams
n
- Managing migration waves, dependencies, sequencing and the critical path
n
- Coordinating security, infrastructure, application owners, service desk teams and third-party suppliers
n
- Maintaining the RAID register and providing clear, realistic delivery reportingManaging governance forums, stage gates, approvals and change control
n
- Overseeing resource scheduling, testing, cutover, handover and project closure
n
- Keeping delivery on track against a fixed completion deadline
n

What we are looking for

n





n
- Significant experience leading complex technology migration or transformation programs
n
- Experience with IAM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, infrastructure or enterprise platform migrations
n
- Robust dependency, risk, governance and critical-path management capability
n
- Experience coordinating client teams, managed service providers and specialist vendors
n
- Demonstrated success delivering against fixed and externally imposed deadlines
n
- Victorian Government or Victorian public sector delivery experience
n
- A recognised project or programme management qualification
n

This role requires a Project Manager who understands that the greatest delivery risk sits in the coordination, sequencing and dependencies across the existing technology environment—not simply in implementing the target platform.
