We have positions available for trainee belt splicers to join our Melbourne-based team.

We requireenthusiastic, hard-working and physically fit individuals that can handle the quick-paced and labour-intensive nature of this position.

As this is a trainee role, no experience is required and on-the-job training will be provided, so it is perfect for someone looking to start a career in the industry.

Specifically, areas of training will include:
n
conveyor belt and system installation, maintenance and repair
n
safety training and licencing (including forklift, EWP, confined space, etc)
n
workplace health and safety
n
This role offers a unique opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career in a diverse working environment, with the opportunity to advance to a more senior and autonomous role as quickly as your skills develop. It will see you perform a variety of tasks, and you will be based both in our Melbourne workshop, as well as on customer sites. Overtime is also always available.

A current forklift licence, or the willingness to obtain one, will be looked upon favourably

Possessing the following qualifications would be an advantage: confined space; Working Safely at Heights; EWP; White Card
n
This opportunity will see you take on the following duties:
n
Undertake workshop and onsite belt splicing and rubber lining training
n
Dispatch and receipt of product
n
Stock control as required
n
Loading and unloading of vehicles
n
Deliveries
n
Organisation of the workshop and amenities, including maintenance tasks
n
Any other ad hoc tasks as required
n
