The Role

n

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team based at our Arndell Park manufacturing plant. This role is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader.

n

You will be working on day shift supporting the team leader with the on-call rosteron a rotational basis and working on the weekend as required.

n

Scheduled hours are between 6:00am-6:00pm.

n

Responsibilities

n

Preventative and planned maintenance on machinery and responding to breakdowns.

n

Welding and fabrication of new and existing projects

n

Tool making, Die cleaning and trailing

n

Fault finding

n

Machining of parts

n

Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns

n

Maintain high standards of workplace safety and housekeeping

n

The Individual

n

Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)

n

Experience in maintenance and/ or mechanical fault finding within manufacturing environment

n

Machining experience

n

Fabrication & Welding experience

n

Forklift license is desirable

n





Electrical disconnect/reconnect (desirable)

n
