Workshop Manager - Mild Steel Fabrication

n

Your New Role as a Workshop Manager - Mild Steel Fabrication:

n

The Workshop Supervisor will take a leading role in driving productivity and efficiency.

n

To provide planning and support, for the day to day operations across a broad range of areas.

n

To Supervise and manage between 3-10 workshop staff members.

n

Some management of site based installation works will also be required.

n

Interpretation of work shop plans and engineering/fabrications drawings.

n

Ability to use various machinery including, guillotines, press brake,



plate rollers and to manage other staff members to use this equipment in a secure and efficient manner.

n

All forms of Welding with a strong emphasis on MIG welding.

n

Fabricate mild steel products using Light and Heavy materials.

n

What you will need to succeed:

n

n
- Have a minimum of 3 years prior experience in Supervising Welding, Fabrication or Sheetmetal manufacturing tradespeople.
n
- Be a pro-active, hands-on person with the ability to prioritise effectively, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
n
- Enjoy working in a busy team.
n
- Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.
n
