We're searching for an experienced multi-site retail leader with a passion for furniture & homewares, strong commercial acumen, and a genuine love of developing people.

As Retail Operations Manager - VIC West, you'll oversee and support our current Western and Regional Victorian store network:

n

Albury

n

Geelong

n

Hoppers Crossing

n

and potential site expansion in 26/27/28 financial years.

n

Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, this is a key leadership role within our business and an opportunity to make a real impact across the state.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

n

- Lead, coach, and inspire Store Managers to achieve individual and team performance goals.
n
- Build capability within your teams by fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
n
- Provide clear direction, performance feedback,



and ongoing development support.
n

Operational Excellence

n

n
- Ensure all stores operate in line with company standards from visual merchandising to inventory control.
n
- Drive store productivity through effective rostering, workflow management, and KPI tracking.
n
- Champion continuous improvement opportunities across the retail footprint.
n
- Strategically drive sales performance and profitability across all stores.
n
- Analyse sales results and develop action plans to maximise growth.
n
- Lead initiatives that elevate customer experience and strengthen brand loyalty.
n

HR & People Management

n

n
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies for retail staff.
n
- Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and reward programs.
n
- Model and uphold OZ Design's culture, values and service standards.
n

Sound like the role for you? Here's what we're looking for:

- Proven experience in a multi-site retail leadership or operations management role.
n
- A strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyse sales performance and implement improvement plans.
n
- A hands‐on leadership style with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop and inspire Store Managers.
n
- A deep understanding of retail operations, including rostering, inventory control, compliance and visual merchandising.
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build robust, trusting relationships across teams.
n
- Flexibility to travel regularly across Victorian stores.
n
