EXPERIENCED CABINET MAKER WANTED

We have a rare opening for a skilled cabinet maker to join our workshop in Cowaramup, Western Australia.

n

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who takes immense pride in producing high-quality custom cabinetry and wants to be an integral part of a growing business.
n The work we produce is different from most other workshops in the region, creating a wonderful balance of creativity and technical cabinet making. If you have a background in furniture-making or fine carpentry these skills would also transfer well into the work that we create.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

n

n
- We work in a variety of materials including raw timbers. You will need experience in timber machining, solid timber construction and timber veneering.
n
- Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
n
- Experience reading a cut-list.
n
- You will need to be able to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
n




- You will have experience using a spray-booth and be able to spray finish paint and lacquer.
n
- You will be detail driven and have positive problem-solving skills.
n
- Experience installing cabinets on site in both residential and commercial environments.
n
- You will be comfortable working within a small team but confident enough to work unassisted.
n
- You will be self-motivated and take immense pride in your work.
n
- You must be an Australian resident or hold a valid work permit.
n
- You must be living in the Southwest or willing to relocate here.
n
- You must be able to drive and own a vehicle.
n

Immediate start available.

Part-time or full-time position for the right applicant. Salary negotiable, based on experience.

n

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

n
