They are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer with experience in water or wastewater.

Your Recent Role
n
As the Commissioning Engineer, you will:
n
n
- Lead the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems for major water infrastructure projects, overseeing all stages from pre-commissioning to process commissioning.
n
- Prepare, manage, and maintain commissioning documentation, including O&Ms;, ITPs, ITCs, SOPs, and other required materials.
n
- Coordinate safety and design reviews (HAZOP, CHAZOP, CHAIR), provide technical input, and ensure adherence to commissioning SWMS and safety protocols.
n
- Supervise installation and construction activities, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification while verifying instrumentation, SCADA integration, VSD configuration, alarms, and system performance.
n
- Develop and execute cutover and seeding plans, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless system integration, optimal performance,
and smooth handover to operations.
n
- Provide training and operational support to staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of commissioned assets.
n

About You
n
You're a confident Commissioning Engineer with proven experience in water or wastewater commissioning. You can independently manage complex commissioning tasks while coordinating with construction and operations teams.
n
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- Hands-on experience commissioning water or wastewater infrastructure assets, including mechanical and electrical systems, SCADA, instrumentation, alarms, and process interlocks.
n
- Proven ability to generate, manage, and maintain commissioning documentation such as O&Ms;, ITCs, ITPs, and SOPs.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve commissioning challenges, ensuring seamless system integration and compliance with Sydney Water requirements and safety standards.
n
- Collaborative mindset with experience training and supporting operations teams during asset handover.
n
- Commitment to long-term engagement and growth within a secure project and business environment.
n
