Job Description

We are a manufacturer of precast concrete panels located in Dandenong South. We require Formworkers who have experience in the precast concrete panel industry.We specialise in government facilities, infrastructure, residential and commercial buildings.

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Formwork Carpenter to join our team for Auscast Constructions Pty Ltd's ongoing work throughout Melbourne. This is a full time position.

The role

n

Duties and Responsibilities

n

n
- Reading and interpreting working plans for the job
n
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
n
- Safely operating hand and power tools and carrying out WHS requirements
n
- Setting out the work from these instructions
n
- Ordering and selecting the materials required as per dimensions and installation procedures
n
- Cutting,



assembling and nailing wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials to construct formwork
n
- Erecting and installing concrete formwork as per project requirements
n
- Construction of other forms to contain concrete for other applications
n
- Assisting concreters when required
n

n

2 years relevant experience (Preferred)

n

Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)

n

Construction White Card

n

Safety procedures knowledge

n

Positive, can do attitude and enjoy working in a team

n

Valid Driving License and transport

n

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance Check.
