Cardiff Based company is seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team in Cardiff, NSW. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a vital role in our road transport operations. What you'll be doing
n
Safely operating heavy combination vehicles (HC - DG license required) to transport goods and materials across our distribution network
n
Loading and unloading vehicles in a timely and effective manner
n
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
n
Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs
n
Providing exceptional customer service to clients
n
Complying with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
n
Restraining loads correctly and securely.
n
Full-time with hours being Monday to Friday with some overtime and weekends as required.
n
What we're looking for
n
A current HC driver's license with a minimum of 1 years experience operating heavy combination vehicles
n
Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
n
Excellent time management and organizational skills
n
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Dangerous good experience/license would be an advantage but not essential.
