- $46.00 per hour – Day Shift
n
- Applicants must be 20 years of age or older to be eligible for this pay rate.

Key Responsibilities

n

As a Freight Handler, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, sorting and preparing freight for transport while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Securely loading trailers using brick-stacking techniques from wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling.
n




- Correctly boarding trailers at designated loading stages using load boards and pogo bars.
n
- Breaking down pallets and inducting freight onto conveyor systems with labels facing upwards.
n
- Maintaining continuous freight flow to achieve operational KPIs.
n
- Following all manual handling procedures and workplace safety requirements.
n
- Maintaining a safe exclusion zone around forklifts and mobile equipment.
n
- Reporting damaged freight and completing minor repairs where appropriate.
n
- Supporting housekeeping and downtime activities to maintain operational efficiency.
n

What We're Looking For

- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling.
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
n
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
n
- Forklift Licence (LF) is advantageous.
n
- Pre-Employment Requirements
n
- Successful applicants must be able to:
n
- Provide a National Police Check issued within the last six (6) months.
n
- Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen.
n
- Successfully complete a pre-employment Medical Assessment.
n
- Have full Australian working rights.
n
