Job Description
Looking for Friday Nanny | Burnside Heights
n
We're a warm, easy-going family in Burnside Heights looking for a caring, reliable nanny to become an important part of our daughter's life.
n
Our daughter will celebrate her first birthday in February, and we're hoping to find someone who will become a trusted part of her world as she grows through these precious early years.
n
The Role
n Location: Burnside Heights
n Day: Preferably Friday, although there is some flexibility as we're currently finalising our work schedules.
n Hours: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (10 guaranteed paid hours)
n
I'm planning to return to work one day per week from November, and we'd love to arrange a few casual sessions throughout October so everyone has the prospect to get to know each other before regular care begins.
n

n
- Library story time
n
- Local playgroups
n
- Parks and nature walks
n

mixed ethnicity Etheiopian-Welsh family. Mum is a Maternal & Child Health Nurse and Dad is a Physiotherapist, and we both have a strong interest in children's health, development and wellbeing.
n
We value responsive, relationship-based care and see this as a partnership. We'd love to find someone who feels comfortable in our home and genuinely enjoys becoming part of our daughter's world.
n
Please make yourself at home while you're here. Help yourself to tea, coffee and lunch, and if you're out enjoying story time, the park or a local café with our daughter, we'd love you to grab a coffee or a little treat while you're out together, our shout.
n
Although the role is until 6:00 pm, we'll often be home between 5:15-5:45pm, and if we're home early, you're welcome to finish then while still being paid until 6:00 pm.

n
We're not simply looking for someone to watch our daughter while we're at work. We're hoping to find a kind, dependable person who becomes a trusted part of her world—someone she feels excited to see each week, and someone who genuinely enjoys watching her learn, grow and discover the world.
