As a Field Maintenance Technician based in Melbourne, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced customer support using your skills in troubleshooting, mechanics, and maintenance on Vekta's state-of-the-art products.

About you:

n

Have experience in preventative maintenance? We are looking for engineers or skilled maintenance technicians with 3+ years experience.

n

Worked previously in the automation industry? It's a bonus!

n





Practice in your field? Experience in mechanical trades ticks the box!

n

Studied your dream job but want to have a hands-on career rather than tied to a desk every day? A tertiary qualification in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trades could tick the box!

n

Scheduled servicing, while proactively diagnosing issues to minimise equipment downtime on automated machinery.

n

A combination of scheduled services - either 6:30 - 3:30pm or 10:00am - 6:00pm.

n

Diagnosing mechanical faults, e.g. bearings, gearboxes, belts, motors, conveyors.

n

Assist with mechanical installations.

n

Attending breakdowns.

n

Providing technical assistance to customers.

n

Document service and support activities.

n

Rostered office days (from home)

n

Travel to local, interstate, and international sites as needed.

n

Required Skills

n

Confident in mechanical fitting.

n

Experience servicing/maintaining automated machinery.

n

Diagnosing mechanical faults.

n

Customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
