We are seeking an experienced, friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy and patient-focused medical practice in Oxley.

n

This is a part-time position offering 10–20 hours per week, including alternate Sundays. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

n

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Greeting patients with a friendly and professional manner
n
- Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
n
- Processing patient billing, Medicare claims and EFTPOS transactions
n
- Maintaining accurate patient records
n
- Liaising with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
n
- General reception and administrative duties
n
- Supporting the team to ensure the efficient running of the practice
n

About You

n





To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (essential)
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy
n
- A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
n
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy medical practice
n
- Flexibility to work alternate Sundays
n

n

Experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded but is not essential.

n
