About The Company

Our client is a small but busy workshop catering primarily to the food industry, with over 30 years of operation behind them. They're known for a friendly, close-knit team culture and a strong reputation for quality workmanship.

About The Opportunity

n

The primary purpose of this position is the fabrication of stainless steel benches, hot and cold bars, fridges and other custom projects for commercial kitchens and food service settings.

n

Some of your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to fabricate stainless steel products
n
- Marking out, cutting, folding and grinding sheet metal for benchtops, displays and custom projects
n
- TIG welding and polishing/finishing jobs to a high standard,



predominantly in the workshop with occasional site work
n

n

About You

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- Minimum 3–5 years' sheet metal fabrication experience, with strong TIG welding experience in stainless steel
n
- Qualified Sheet Metal Tradesman (1st or 2nd class) preferred, along with a White Card and current driver's licence
n
- A quality-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work unsupervised with professional presentation
