HKB Cabinetmaking Townsville is growing, and we're looking for a local legend who knows the difference between a tape measure and a hammer... and preferably doesn't use one as the other.

n

If you're an experienced Cabinetmaker, Installer, Tradesman or hardworking Labourer, keep reading.

What's the job?

n

You'll be based at our Currajong workshop, with a mix of workshop fabrication and onsite installations across Townsville.

n

Your days will include:

n

n
- Building custom cabinetry that people will want to show off.
n
- Installing kitchens, laundries, bathrooms and other custom cabinetry.
n
- Reading plans.
n
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
n
- Helping keep the workshop running smoothly.
n

n

What we're looking for

n

You don't have to know everything, but you do need to know your way around a toolbox.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Experience in cabinetmaking, shopfitting, installation or another trade, but not essential.
n




- Pride in your work (if you point out tiny imperfections nobody else can see, you'll fit right in).
n
- Great attention to detail.
n
- A current C Class Driver Licence (Manual would be handy).
n
- White Card.
n
- Reliability, common sense and a valuable attitude.
n
- A Cabinetmaking trade qualification is preferred, but not essential.
n
