Job Description

n

As General Manager, you will take ownership of the venue's day-to-day operations, commercial performance, gaming strategy and team culture. For the right candidate, the role may expand to include oversight of a second venue, including the delivery of a significant renovation and re-launch project.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading all operational, financial and people-related aspects of the venue
n
- Driving gaming performance through sound commercial strategy, compliance and customer engagement
n
- Building a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture
n
- Developing,



mentoring and retaining a capable management and frontline team
n
- Supporting the planning and execution of a major venue renovation and re-launch
n

Candidate Profile

n

The successful candidate will be an accomplished pub or hospitality General Manager with strong gaming knowledge, commercial acumen and a genuine commitment to people and culture. They will be a visible and engaging leader who can balance operational performance with team development and long-term business improvement.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

n

- Proven experience leading a high-volume pub, hotel or comparable hospitality venue
n
- Strong knowledge of gaming operations, compliance and performance optimisation
n
- A successful track record in building engaged teams and improving workplace culture
n
- Strong financial management, budgeting and labour control capability
n
- Experience with venue renovations, openings or multi-site operations will be highly regarded
n
