About the Role

n

Working within a busy and well-established imaging department, you'll play an integral role in delivering outstanding diagnostic imaging services while providing exceptional patient care.
n Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Performing a broad range of CT examinations across a diverse patient caseload
n
- Producing consistently high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
n




- Applying sound clinical judgement to optimise imaging protocols and achieve the best possible diagnostic outcomes
n
- Delivering compassionate, patient-focused care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout every examination
n
- Working closely with Radiologists, Nurses and fellow Medical Radiation Practitioners in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
n
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation and complying with all radiation safety, quality assurance and infection control requirements
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the ongoing development of the department
n

About You

n

To be successful, you'll possess:

n

n
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or an equivalent Australian recognised qualification
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
n
- Current State Radiation Licence (or eligibility to obtain one)
n
- Demonstrated CT experience, or a strong desire to specialise in CT with the support of an experienced clinical team
n
- Excellent clinical judgement and a commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic imaging
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient care
n
- The ability to thrive in a busy, collaborative clinical environment
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- ASMIRT CT Accreditation (or working towards accreditation)
n
- Cannulation and IV contrast competency
n
- Current CPR certification
n
- Experience across Siemens, Canon, GE or Philips CT platforms
n
