Lives Good Services & Supports is seeking a reliable and compassionate female support worker to assist elderly people and people with disability in their own homes throughout Portland.

We have local clients ready for support and are looking for someone who wants consistent, meaningful work - not simply occasional fill-in shifts.

This client-specific female position includes personal and domestic services provided within clients' homes and reflects client preferences relating to privacy, dignity and personal care.

What you'll receive

- $35-$42 per hour, depending on classification and experience
- Applicable weekend, evening and public-holiday penalty rates

Duties

- Personal care, showering and dressing
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Social support and companionship
- Shopping and community access
- Respite care
- Transport assistance
- Accurate progress notes after each shift

Qualifications and requirements

- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Police Check issued within the past three years
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Relevant personal-care qualification
- Australian working rights
- Smartphone for receiving rosters and completing progress notes
- Excellent reliability and communication
