An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) to join Gold Coast Health where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will
n
n
- Actively engage in professional development of self and support the development of others, including students
n
- Provide, maintain and role model advanced person-focused, evidence-based care
n
- Engage with consumers to support shared decision making relevant to their care and health literacy within scope of role
n
- Triage patient referrals and presentations in collaboration with the Clinic Nurse Consultant, ensuring urgent cases are prioritised and reviewed in a timely manner
n
n
About youTo be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
n
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

- Base salary ranging from $57.76 - $61.85 per hour
